Property Development & Management

We have just completed our recent 26-unit semi-D project Vila Laman Cahaya near Taman Tun Dr Ismail/Penchala, with the CF issued in April 2013. The development involves a 3 acre land that is adjacent to Jalan Datuk Sulaiman, TTDI with a new access from Jalan Datuk Sulaiman built by DBKL.

In 2008, we successfully completed the development of Plaza RAH on a 1.2 acre land in Kampung Baru. Plaza RAH is a 23-storey building consisting of 301 units of condominium and 2 levels of retail. The building was fully constructed by our associate company Pembinaan RAH Corporation Sdn Bhd. Plaza RAH is now managed by us.

The retail space of Plaza RAH is 90% occupied with a good mix of businesses that includes a restaurant, a café, an accountant office, boutiques, medical care offices, travel agents and many more.

Apart from Plaza RAH, we have been involved in several other property developments in Kampung Baru. These 5-storey apartment buildings are now fully managed by RAH and provides an excellent income stream for us.

Oil Palm Estate Development & Cultivation

Our oil palm estate was developed in its entirety by Rah Properties Corporation Sdn. Bhd. The development of our 2500-acre land involved deforestation, clearing of land using our own machineries and cultivation, maintenance and harvesting of oil palm trees.

The oil palm trees in the estate range from 3 to 11 years old. Fertilizer is applied three to four times a year on each tree. Steps are taken to ensure to that these trees remain healthy. These include disease control with the use of insecticides, regular removal of weeds with the application of herbicides and protection against animals such as wild boars using poison.

The oil palm fresh fruit bunches (FFB) from our oil palm estate are sold to Felda Palm Industries Sdn. Bhd. in Sungai Tengi. The monthly weight of FFBs produced by our estate has increased to an average of 1,200 tonnes. Since our trees are still growing and maturing, the size of the FFBs produced is also increasing, thus, we expect the monthly tonnage to increase concurrently barring any seasonal decrease due to weather.

We have an agreement with the aforementioned mill to purchase our FFBs with the price calculations already agreed upon, with fluctuations only due to the changes in world palm oil price.

Cattle & Organic Chicken Farming

Our cattle farm is located in Kalumpang, Hulu Selangor housing over 150 cows, with organic chicken reared in the same area. This farm supplies our Hale's Kitchen restaurant with beef for local dishes and organic chicken.
